Notation for Hand Movement: The hand notation pad shows the position of dancer hands for the currently selected pose. Tap on one of the hands to edit notations for its movement. The selected hand turns green. The color of the other hand changes to red. Dancer's head is shown for direction reference. Drag the green hand to any of the 11 positions or Tap the button at the destination. The Labanotation symbol for the hand position appears on the staff. The hand notation may be left blank to let the dancer choose any positon.

HandNotations

Clear HandNotations: Long Press on either hand to clear the hand notations. The dancer may choose any positon without notations for the hands.

Level Bar: There is a color coded bar to left of the notation pad that represent three levels. The levels represent position of the arm's angular position. The arm streched horizontally in level with sholder joint is normal (off-white). The arm pointing up from the sholder joint is represented as high (blue). The arm pointing down from the sholder joint is represented as low (green).

Extension and Flexion: Labanotation permits notation to specify if the arm is extended or bent. There are notations for a range of arm extension and flexion in theory. For the current app only three levels are implemented. At the bottom of the color level bar there are three buttons to select a stretched compressed, normal compressed, or compressed compressed leg. For most dance figures select normal.

Connection to Partner: The dancers hand connections are notated. Select the options for the left and right hand connections from the selection boxes on left and right of the notation pad.
